1. Information We Collect and System Permissions

This version of LingoVille does not require account registration, user login, or online profile creation . We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).

However, to provide our core language learning features, the application requests the following device permissions:

• Microphone Access & Speech Recognition : To support our interactive oral English speaking exercises, the app requires access to your device's microphone and Apple's Speech Recognition framework. This is used solely to process your voice input in real-time, convert your speech to text locally, and check whether your spoken English matches the practice sentences.
• Data Handling : Your voice data is processed immediately on your device or via Apple's native system service. We do not record, store, collect, or transmit your audio files or voice data to our servers or any third-party external databases.

2. Local Data Storage

To provide you with the core gameplay and learning experience, certain non-personal data is stored strictly locally on your own device. This includes:

• Language learning progress
• In-game town-building progress and inventory
• App settings, sound configurations, and preferences

This data remains entirely on your local device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. If you delete or uninstall the application, this locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs

This version of the application is designed to be a standalone, secure experience.

• It does not integrate any third-party marketing, analytics, advertising, or payment SDKs.
• The voice-to-text conversion utilizes Apple’s native on-device Speech Recognition API. No marketing or tracking third-party services have access to your voice inputs.

4. Children's Privacy

LingoVille is designed to be safe for all users. Because we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or implement any tracking mechanisms, our application is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or any other applicable age).

5. Your Rights and Data Control

Since we do not collect or possess any of your personal data, we do not maintain any records that you can access, modify, or delete from our side.

• Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent to our local data storage at any time by simply deleting and uninstalling the application from your device.
